Product Manager (Technical)
Job Description
Join our Sales and Marketing team as a Product Manager, responsible for managing our PLA product portfolio. Based in Dubai, this role requires international travel and interaction with customers and regulatory bodies to ensure our PLA products are fit for various applications and successfully commercialised.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Portfolio: Manage product literature, define product needs, and review compliance documents.
- Market Intelligence: Compile and analyse market data to develop comprehensive insights for plastics and bioplastics.
- Product-Application Fit: Identify and promote strategic product-market combinations.
- Sourcing and Inventory: Support sourcing of PLA from third-party suppliers, manage inventory, and oversee warehousing operations.
- Sustainability: Develop documentation on PLA’s environmental impact and lead projects showcasing PLA benefits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MSc in mechanical or chemical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a product management role within the plastics or related industries.
- Strong business acumen with experience in market research and identifying market opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to adapt in a fast-growing company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with an understanding of Middle Eastern, Indian, and European cultures.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental impact.
