*Carries out the Physician's verbal/ written order as requested for any diagnostic and therapeutic procedure under respiratory services. *Reads prescription, measures arterial blood gas and reviews patient information to assess patient condition and determined requirements for treatment, such as type and duration of therapy, medication and dosage. *Perform therapy modalities and provide ventilator assistance to patients as ordered by the physicians. *Assist cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, intubation, bronchoscopy and percutaneous tracheostomy. * Perform ventilator managements, maintenance, calibrations and troubleshooting for pulmonary assistance for the patients and weaning protocols. *Administer Aerosol and Oxygen therapy including High Flow Nasal Cannula and Nitric Oxide Therapy. *Arterial Blood Gases extraction and interpretation. *Monitor patients’ conditions and reaction and report any abnormal signs to physicians, perform bronchial hygiene, chest physiotherapy, lung exercises and pulmonary function tests. *Follow ARDS/COVID-19 Protocol, Brain Protective Strategy and Therapist-Implemented Patient-Specific Weaning Protocol. *Does ECG and 24-hours Holter ECG Monitoring. *Does instruct and perform Incentive Spirometry to post operative patients. *Transfer Mechanically ventilated patients from one room or another or to any procedural rooms and to another hospital. *Abide in any Infection Control Protocols and Policy.
