- Perform Arterial blood gas extraction and interpretation (neonate, pediatric & adult) - Responsible for internship program exams, reporting, lectures, evaluation, checking and practical exams. - Therapy administration like aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy and bronchopulmonary clearance. - Administer life support: Troubleshoot and hook the patient to a mechanical ventilator, ensuring that they receive monitoring, weaning, titration and airway management. -Performing diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity such as pulmonary function tests and spirometry. -Setup oxygen, NIV, CPAP and BiPAP machines for patients requiring breathing treatments. - Responds to code blue calls and assists by maintaining the patient' s airway and performing CPR. - Accompany intubated patients hooked to a mechanical ventilator during transport at CT scan, xray and others. -Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and manage treatment plans to mechanically ventilated patients. -Assist in critical care procedure such as Airway Intubation. -Airway care: Perform Tracheostomy care, Endotracheal care and suctioning. -Provide patient education and counselling in the management of variety of respiratory diseases.
