Roles and Responsibilities: Assigned for COVID patients. Perform chest physiotherapy. Perform airway clearance such as postural drainage. Perform lung exercise such as Incentive Spirometry. Performs Arterial Blood Gas Extraction. Maintains and keeps apparatus functional. Prepare and Maintain Emergency Kits for Airway Intubation. Respond to Codes. Assist doctor on Establishing Patent Airway during Emergency Intubation and Provide Immediate Ventilator Assistance. Coordinates with Nurses to Manage and Maintain Airway Patency of all Intubated Patients. Perform Airway Suctioning Among Patient with Ventilatory Support as Needed. Replace Close Suction Catheter every after 3 days or as per manufacturer’s Instruction.  Monitor and Manage Patients Undergoing Continuous Mechanical Ventilation. Deliver Aerosolized Medication for Inhalation among Mechanically Ventilated Patient as Prescribed by Doctors. Suggest appropriate Weaning Methods and Apply Accordingly as per doctor’s order. Performs Extubation as ordered by Physician. Troubleshoot Mechanical Ventilator when needed. Conduct routine monitoring. Assemble and Prepare Ventilator circuit in sterile manner. Perform Ventilator circuit change every 7 days and as needed. Cleaning of Ventilator every after use. Check and Prepare Portable ventilator. Assist in Shifting Patient with Ventilator Support within and outside the hospital. Collaborates with Nurses in Administering and Monitoring patient under Oxygen Therapy. Extract and Analyze ABG as per Physician order. Assume the responsibility in running Quality Control of ABG Machines from level 1 to level 4 every Morning Shift. Check, monitor and Record the Functionality of all Respiratory Equipment. Assisting Tracheostomy. Changing Tracheostomy Tube. Assisting Bronchoscope. Shifting patient to CT scan and MRI. Assisting Insertion of ECMO line. Managing ECMO patient.
